Indianola Activity Center

Fundraising for renovation of this 10,3000 sq. ft. building which the city has purchased is still taking place. Approximately $50,000 is till needed. It is anticipated that renovation will be underway this fall and will be completed by January 1, 20001. Building uses will be for senior citizen programs and activities, receptions, seminars, internet and computer classes, arts and crafts, parties, reunions, training sessions, intergenerational activities, and parks and recreation offices. Tax-deductible donations are still needed and may be sent to the Indianola Community Parks and Recreation Foundation, Inc., Activity Center Fund, PO Box 299, Indianola, IA 50125.

Donations may also be pledged and spread over a 3-year period. For pledge cards and additional information, call one of the following committee members or Indianola Parks and Recreation at 961-9420.
