WELCOME CATHY NUTTING, HORTICULTULTURIST
We welcome Cathy Nutting to the Parks and Recreation Department in the position of Horticulturist. Cathy replaces Helen Trembly who is leaving to be an at-home mom with her son and family. Cathy has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Horticulture from Iowa State University, and has direct experience in garden design, landscape maintenance and greenhouse growing. She has also coordinated the Prairie View Project, a flower garden and prairie re-establishment area in Milo, Iowa, her hometown. Cathy and her husband Jon have a 12-year-old son, Joshua, and a 9-year-old daughter, Emily. We look forward to having Cathy continue with the improvement and expansion of the public flower, tree and landscape areas in Indianola.
