Registration for Spring /Summer Programs

City of Indianola Spring/Summer Activity Guides will be mailed the first week of March.

Earlybird online registration will begin on Saturday, March 8, at 10:00 a.m. All other registration will begin Monday, March 10, at 8:00 a.m.

Online registration requires an existing account with Indianola Parks and Recreation, plus PIN and Barcode information.

The PIN and Barcode can be sent to an email address on file with Parks & Recreation. Call (515) 961-9420 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday to set up a new account, update an email address or receive PIN and Barcode information.

New accounts cannot
be created online.

Pie Day

Adults 55 or better are invited to the Indianola Activity Center on Tuesday, March 11, at 1:00 pm to enjoy free pie from Village Inn. The game, Corn Toss, an easy to learn and fun to watch game, will also be available. The Activity Center is located at 2204 W. 2nd Avenue (Hwy 92 W).

Family Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt

When the sun goes down, the fun begins! Participants need to bring their own flashlight (size limited to no larger than 2 “D” cell batteries). After the hunt and awarding of prizes, there will be s’mores for all! Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.

New Liability Wavier Requirement

As per Policy 400.16 recently approved by the Parks and Recreation Commission, all Parks and Recreation program participants will be required to sign a Liability Release Waiver. This procedure will begin with the 2008 Spring/Summer programs. Registrations will not be complete until the Waiver is received at the Parks and Recreation office, and program participation will not be allowed. There will be three ways to do this.

1) The Liability Release Waiver is part of every online registration and will be most
convenient.
2) Walk in, fax and mail-in registrations will be required to sign the waiver at time of
registration.
3) The waiver will be mailed to phone registrants, who will be responsible to fax, mail
or return the waiver to the Parks and Recreation office.
