Tae Kwon Do
Indianola Parks & Recreation partners with Two Rivers Martial Arts to offer Tae Kwon Do classes for students age 6 through adult. The next session begins Thursday, February 14. Beginners meet on Mondays and Thursdays from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Indianola Activity Center. The advanced class meets on Mondays and Thursdays from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m., and on Wednesday from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Indianola Activity Center. Fee is $37 for beginners and $42 for advanced. The registration deadline is Thursday, February 7. Potential participants are invited to observe and talk with instructors. Middle School Early Out to Pizza Palace
Indianola Parks and Recreation will offer a trip to the Pizza Palace in Des Moines on Friday, February 15, from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for students in 6th, 7th and 8th grade. Students will eat lunch at the Pizza Palace, then enjoy arcade games, laser tag, black light mini golf, and jump basketball or bowling. The trip will depart from and return to the Indianola Activity Center, 2204 W. 2nd Avenue (Hwy 92 West). Cost is $13.75. Registation deadline is Friday, February 8, or when full.
