A: If you are concerned about an emergency siren in your area, contact
the Administrative Offices of the Indianola Fire Department at
515-961-9405.
Q: When are the outdoor sirens activated?
A: The warning sirens are tested on the first Saturday of every month
around noon. The warning sirens are only activated if the National
Weather Service has issued a Tornado Warning for the area of (central
Warren County or if an actual sighting occurs by a public safety
official.
